Power you can feel — and hear
Sprinting from 0–60 mph in just 3.8 seconds, the 2.9-liter V6 biturbo engine generates 444 horsepower and 443 lb-ft of torque. Along with the available RS sport exhaust system with its unmistakable sound and driver-controllable exhaust flaps, the new RS 5 Sportback is a powerful drive for the senses.
Power where you need it, when you need it
The Audi RS 5 Sportback features quattro® all-wheel drive technology. The system has an asymmetric torque split that can intuitively send power to where it’s needed, helping enhance performance and traction as road conditions demand. With the quattro® sport rear differential, torque is actively distributed between the rear wheels, helping propel around curves and imparting the feel of a rear-wheel drive but with all-wheel drive grip.
The dynamics of driving
The RS 5 Sportback features a fixed RS sport suspension that allows for both a sporty driving experience and comfortable ride for long distances. To further enhance the track-ability and performance, the available Dynamic package includes RS sport suspension plus with Dynamic Ride Control, which utilizes diagonally connected shocks to help reduce lateral body roll and help improve handling and connection to the road.
Intelligence is bliss
With smart driver assistance systems like the available Audi pre sense® technologies and available Traffic sign recognition, basking in intelligence is not only welcomed in the 2019 RS 5 Sportback — it’s encouraged.
The lap — and mind —
The Audi virtual cockpit is a fully digital 12.3-inch instrument display that allows the driver to customize information such as navigation and audio, offering classic and infotainment modes as well as Google Earth™ imagery. The RS 5 Sportback has a third option: sport mode, which displays a large, central tachometer and performance statistics, such as a lap timer, horsepower and torque gauge, G-meter and direct TPMS that displays real-time tire pressures and temperatures.

MMI® touch with handwriting-recognition technology allows the driver to “write” their entry rather than selecting letters or numbers and more easily navigate maps by moving a finger across the touchpad.

Details that make hearts race
The spirit of the racetrack can be seen and felt in every ounce and outing in the new Audi RS 5 Sportback. The wave-design shoulder line underscores its athleticism along the body line, and flared fenders nod to the quattro® all-wheel drive while striking a wide, prominent stance.

Never drive until the tank is completely empty. The irregular supply of fuel that results from that can cause engine misfires. Uncombusted fuel will then enter the exhaust system. This can cause overheating and damage to the catalytic converter.
