A message to our customers
The Coronavirus (COVID-19) is presenting all of us with an unprecedented challenge. While there are many unknowns, we are navigating the steps needed to support our customers and employees through this period of uncertainty. Our call center, as well as Audi Financial Services, remain open and accessible to serve our customers. Our dealers are independently owned and operated and have our full support to take the actions needed to protect their customers, employees, and communities, including shutting down until it is prudent to return to normal business.
Transportation is an essential service to many Americans and we’re doing our best to keep people moving. We want to be able to support that need to check-in with relatives, bring a friend or family member food or to get doctors and nurses to their place of work to assist others. Our dealers are open for sales and service, providing support to ensure our customers remain mobile. In fact, in some areas, our dealer service departments are classified as an essential business for exactly these reasons. Please contact your local Audi dealer should you have questions regarding hours of operation and available services.
We may not have all the answers right now, but rest assured we are staying on top of the situation.
Stay safe and be well.
We are asking all employees in our corporate and regional offices who can work from home to do so until further notice. For our employees in the ports, factories and service centers doing the critical work of keeping the parts flowing, the cars coming and the customers served, local site management is ensuring that the facilities and operating practices support a safe and secure environment, and are available to quickly address any concerns employees in those facilities may have.
This is a challenging time and we are encouraging our dealers to do what is best for their customers, employees and communities. Transportation is an essential service to many Americans and we’re doing our best to keep people moving. Many of our dealers are closed for sales, but are still providing service to ensure our customers remain mobile. In fact, in some areas, our dealer service departments are classified as essential business for exactly these reasons.
In terms of safety measures at our dealerships, employees are taking all precautions in accordance with CDC guidelines including social distancing, and sanitizing cars, keys and surfaces.
