From the home screen: MEDIA > Source > Connect external device > New connection. The available Bluetooth devices will be displayed after several seconds. Press the desired mobile device in the list of displayed devices. A PIN for a secure Bluetooth connection will be generated. Confirm the PIN on your mobile device to complete the connection. Once connected, the mobile device will be displayed in the Connected devices menu as a Bluetooth audio player.

After the first login, you will be instructed directly to create a vehicle. Or you can call up the vehicle list with the icon at the upper left edge of the screen of your myAudi app and add a vehicle by clicking on \"+\". You will need the 17-digit vehicle identification number (VIN) of your Audi. This can be found in your vehicle documentation or behind the windscreen of your vehicle.

As the key user, you are the administrator for your vehicle. You have remote access rights for administration and can view information about your vehicle. The following functions in particular are available to you as the key user:View technical vehicle data
Use security-critical remote services in vehicles with this capability
Manage secondary users (add, delete)
Selected connect services

Becoming the key user for your vehicle requires two-factor authentication. This serves to verify your identity and to confirm you as the owner/keeper of your vehicle. This requires steps in myAudi and in your vehicle. Please follow the recommendations of the setup wizard in myAudi. 
As an alternative, you can also visit your dealer to be nominated as the key user. The advantage of this is that the dealer can verify your account at the same time.

To change the key user, the existing key user first has to revoke their key user role. This can be done directly on the MMI of the vehicle or the current key user can do this in the user management of the myAudi app.

Select "Account settings" in the profile. This is where you can reset your password.

This is not currently available.

Depending on the country, vehicle and vehicle options, myAudi also offers you access to some of the numerous Audi connect services. As a key user, you can call up an overview of the services available to you under "My vehicle in detail" > "Equipment and technical data" > "Services and licenses".

No, the myAudi app itself is free to use, including when abroad. However, many services are available only in conjunction with an existing or separate mobile phone contract and only within the area covered by the mobile phone network. If necessary, additional charges from your mobile phone provider may be incurred abroad, e.g. roaming fees.

Your smartphone is connected to the infotainment system over Bluetooth. The myAudi app is active in the background to offer you the opportunity to synchronise certain services with your vehicle (e.g. calendar or music streaming) and to use these through the vehicle MMI also during a journey.

The vehicle status can be viewed in the myAudi app at any time with the connect service "Vehicle status report". It shows information about your vehicle, e.g. fuel level, oil level, battery state of charge, mileage, door status, any warnings and upcoming service appointments.

With a current Audi connect navigation & infotainment licence, the navigation on your vehicle MMI shows you free parking spaces along your route at a glance. Tap one of the parking icons along the route to see additional information, such as opening times, parking fees and available spaces.

In the destination definition of the navigation menu in the app, you can find the "Home" and "Work" options, to which you can assign your private/work address.

To set up Amazon Alexa in your Audi, start by logging in on the MMI with your myAudi user account. In the user management, select \"Connect to Alexa\". A QR code will be displayed. Then scan the QR code with your mobile device to confirm the connection between your MMI and Alexa. Ensure that online speech recognition is activated. (Consent to the online recognition for SDS.) You can check this in "Settings" > "General" > "Speech dialogue system" in the MMI of your vehicle.

Your PIN protects particularly security-relevant functions for your vehicle and your myAudi account. These are functions that are only available to you as a verified key user or secondary user. The secondary user has their own PIN.

In the profile section of the app, click "Account settings" and select the "S-PIN" section. Here, you can change your S-PIN or reset it with "Forgotten your S-PIN?"

In the vehicle, you have the option of using the privacy settings to prevent the sending of data. This deactivates all services that are not legally mandatory. If you only want to prevent specific Audi connect services from sending data, this can be done in the myAudi app under "All functions" > "Privacy".
