Conquering the desert.

In 2022, the Audi RS Q e-tron conquered the desert utilizing a low-carbon prototype with electric drive, high-voltage battery, and energy converter^*. Thousands of miles of extreme conditions for both drivers and car. On just the third attempt, Audi made motorsport history with an overall victory at the 2024 Dakar Rally.

1981. Audi quattro. Game changer. With permanent all-wheel drive-in rally racing, Audi left the competition behind. Michèle Mouton became the first woman to claim an overall victory. In total Mouton claimed two manufacturer’s titles and two driver’s titles. All-wheel drive became the standard and remains so to this day.

Success on the circuit.

quattro on asphalt? Absolutely. In 1988 and 1989, Audi dominated the American Trans-Am and IMSA GTO racing series. In 1990, Audi entered DTM with the V8 quattro achieving overall victory in the debut season. The title was then defended the following year. No other manufacturer had achieved that before.
