All in the motorsport family

Inspired by the 1984 Audi Sport Quattro, the five-cylinder 2.5-liter TFSI® engine on the Audi TT RS produces 160 hp per liter, resulting in a total output of 400 hp. It’s quicker than its predecessor, going from 0-60 mph in only 3.6 seconds. The stats are impressive, complementing the signature sound — and the undeniable thrills — of the engine that represents the next evolution of an icon.

Driven by sport, inside and out

The Audi TT RS features iconic lines and signature curves enriched by modern details. The exterior is revamped and the large RS oval tailpipe outlets instantly convey the racing DNA. From S sport seats to a fixed rear wing spoiler, the TT RS is a sports car that displays its race car heritage everywhere you look.

A magnetic ride

The TT RS comes standard with RS magnetic ride, which uses a synthetic blend of oils that contain tiny magnetic particles to create a magnetic field within the shock absorber. The available RS fixed sport suspension, included in the Dynamic plus package, offers a sportier feel.

Traction that keeps up

The Audi TT RS employs permanent quattro® all-wheel drive with no set torque distribution. The all-wheel drive system adjusts and fine-tunes to help maximize grip and overall control, sending as much power to the rear wheels as possible.

The standard Audi virtual cockpit is a fully digital 12.3-inch instrument display that allows the driver to customize information such as audio and available navigation, offering Classic and Infotainment modes as well as Google Earth™. The TT RS has a third option: Sport mode, which displays a large, central tachometer and performance statistics, such as a lap timer, horsepower and torque gauge, G-meter, and if equipped with the Dynamic plus package, tire pressures and more.

Standard on the 2018 Audi TT RS, MMI® touch with handwriting-recognition technology allows the driver to “write” their entry rather than selecting letters or numbers and more easily navigate maps by moving a finger across the touchpad.

Design

Bold and brawny

The aggressive exterior of the TT RS draws you in, and the driver-oriented interior captivates the senses. For the first time anywhere in the Audi lineup, available OLED rear taillights offer a visually impressive 3D design, while the cabin shares similarities with the Audi R8 featuring a three-spoke, flat-bottom multifunction sport steering wheel with integrated satellite buttons and more.
