Audi smartphone interface
This standard feature enables Apple CarPlay® or Google™ Android Auto™ interface, allowing you to control and integrate your compatible smartphone’s features, such as navigation and select third-party apps, and can be controlled through the MMI® interface, voice control system or steering wheel controls.
Audi pre sense® basic
In the case of an impending collision, Audi pre sense® basic can intervene to prepare the vehicle for impact. This process includes pretensioning the front safety belts, precharging the brakes, beginning to close the side windows and sunroof, and starting to shift the seats upright.
Audi pre sense® city
Standard Audi pre sense® city can help detect cornering and stationary vehicles and pedestrians at speeds of up to 52 mph. It can also warn the driver of an imminent collision, initiate emergency braking and can even help stop the vehicle under 25 mph.
Audi pre sense® rear
Available Audi pre sense® rear helps monitor traffic following the vehicle when a turn signal is not on. Based on the vehicle’s own speed, the system can calculate the speed of following cars. If a critical situation is sensed, the system can apply measures like pretensioning front safety belts and partially closing the sunroof and side windows.
Audi adaptive cruise control with Traffic jam assist
This available feature helps maintain a preset distance to the vehicle in front and can help stop or accelerate your Audi according to traffic conditions. In congested traffic, Traffic jam assist provides gentle acceleration, braking and steering guidance when traveling at speeds between 0 and 40 mph.
Audi active lane assist
Using the camera mounted in front of the rear view mirror housing and sophisticated processing software, the available Audi active lane assist observes lane markings and can provide gentle steering wheel warning vibrations if it is determined that the vehicle is approaching the edge of the lane without signaling.
Rear cross traffic assist
This available feature uses rear sensors to help scan the area behind the vehicle and sides while a rear view camera helps provide additional visibility when backing up, as in reversing out of a perpendicular parking space. In critical situations, a warning tone and brake jolt can be applied to prompt the driver to stop the vehicle.
Audi park steering assist
An available system, Audi park steering assist can automatically steer the car into parallel or perpendicular parking spaces. It uses ultrasonic sensors located in the front and rear bumpers and on the sides. The only actions required of the driver while parking are accelerating, shifting gears and braking, and the system can handle the steering.
