New D.C. United soccer stadium to be named Audi Field

Audi of America, today announced its commitment to D.C. United as the official naming partner of the club’s new Washington D.C. soccer stadium, Audi Field.

Audi Field will be the home for D.C. United, the most decorated franchise in U.S. soccer history and the most successful professional team in the nation’s capital. Opening in 2018, the state-of-the-art, Audi branded facility will also host a variety of sporting, music and cultural events along the newly developed D.C. southwest waterfront.

Audi drives progress in Game Day spot with universal appeal

Audi returns to America’s biggest night in football with a powerful 60-second commercial called “Daughter.” Known for cinematic and memorable storytelling, Audi this year delivers a message of pay equality in the workplace, a theme of universal importance.

“Daughter” will air on Sunday, Feb. 5 during the third quarter of the big game. The spot tells the story of a young girl competing in a downhill cart race in her home town as her father looks on.

Audi of America sets January sales record on SUV strength and sedan demand

Audi of America’s January sales increased 11 percent to 13,201 vehicles. Both SUVs and sedans performed well, with the Q3, Q5 SUVs and the A4 and A6 sedan models leading the volume gains.

After its seventh consecutive year of record sales in the U.S., Audi continued that momentum in January with its 73rd straight record month.

Full-size SUV in coupe design: Audi Q8 concept

Dynamic, highly efficient and extremely comfortable: Audi presents the Audi Q8 concept at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) 2017. With this model the premium manufacturer is tapping into a new segment for the full-size class – an elegant alternative to the robust presence of a classic sport utility vehicle.

The Q8 concept stands for maximum prestige. It combines the spaciousness of an SUV with the emotional lines of a coupe. Propulsion is provided by a powerful, yet highly efficient plug-in hybrid with 330 kW of system output and 700 Nm (516.3 lb-ft) of torque. The concept car is the basis for a production model that Audi will launch on the market in 2018.

Audi at CES and NAIAS

Audi is kicking off 2017 by announcing groundbreaking innovations and all-new models. At CES, NVIDIA and Audi unveiled a new partnership that will use artificial intelligence to further automated driving technology. Audi will be at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit starting January 9.
