Audi smartphone interface
This standard feature enables access to Apple CarPlay® and Google™ Android Auto™ integration, providing access to and integration of your compatible smartphone’s features, such as navigation and select third-party apps. It can be controlled through the MMI® interface, the voice control system or steering wheel controls.
You can connect your Audi to your world with available Audi connect®, an intuitive system that integrates sought-after information like Google Earth™, weather conditions and traffic information. The Audi Q5 offers standard Audi connect CARE assistance and security services as well as a complimentary 6-month trial of available Audi connect PRIME and Wi-Fi hotspot for passengers with Audi connect PLUS online services. Combined with in-vehicle 4G LTE connectivity, getting connected has never been easier.
Audi adaptive cruise control with Traffic Jam assist and active lane assist
Available with the Premium Plus trim and standard on Prestige models, adaptive cruise control enhances comfort, particularly on long journeys, by assisting the driver with acceleration and braking—plus maintaining speed and following distance—and keeping the car in its lane at highway speeds and during traffic-jam situations.
Audi pre sense® city
Audi pre sense® city can help detect stationary vehicles and pedestrians at speeds of up to 52 mph, warn the driver of an imminent collision, initiate emergency braking and can even help stop the vehicle under 25 mph.
Audi side assist with Audi pre sense® rear
In addition to initiation of emergency measures like partial closing of the sunroof and side windows and pretensioning the front safety belts, available Audi side assist with Audi pre sense® rear uses radar sensors and optical warnings to help alert you if a vehicle is in your blind spot by continuously monitoring vehicles to the side and rear, based on your own speed.
Rear cross traffic assist
This available feature uses rear sensors to help scan the area behind the vehicle and sides while a rear view camera helps provide additional visibility when backing up, as in reversing out of a perpendicular parking space. In critical situations, a warning tone and brake jolt can be applied to help prompt the driver to stop the vehicle.
Engineered to help make parking easier, the available Park steering assist feature can help identify a parallel or perpendicular parking spot and steer the vehicle into the space. The driver is responsible for throttle, braking and gear changes while the steering is performed by the system.
