Moving towards more sustainable production

From Brussels, Belgium, to Puebla, Mexico, Audi’s goal is to move towards more sustainable production by relentlessly pursuing a vision of producing vehicles through increased use of renewable energy and efforts to reduce wastewater.

Production at Audi Brussels

Audi Brussels was certified in 2018 as a CO2 neutral factory, producing the Audi e-tron.Info

Manufacturing at the Audi Q5 factory in Mexico

The Audi Q5 factory produces zero wastewater in production, helping to save thousands of cubic meters of water each year.

Beyond the factory

Through our Drive Progress initiative, Audi is helping to level the playing field. Our company is committed to promoting a culture that is designed to allow everyone to reach their highest potential and help support gender equality, inclusion and innovation inside our four walls and beyond.

STEM

Since our initial partnership with Forbes in 2017, the “Forbes Idea Incubator” has offered a chance for the next generation’s female STEM leaders to bring their ideas to life. Each year, students at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering work to develop potential solutions to some of the world’s most pressing mobility problems.

Women in film

Audi proudly works with the American Film Institute to sponsor the Audi Fellowship for Women at the AFI Conservatory, which helps promote the inclusion of female directors in film. The AFI Conservatory is one of the most respected filmmaker training programs in the world.

Drive Progress with the James Beard Foundation

Audi partnered with the James Beard Foundation, and the Women’s Leadership Program to tackle gender imbalance in the culinary field by helping culinary entrepreneurs grow their networks and businesses.

Promoting Soccer in America: MLS & Audi

Audi is committed to helping modern athletes reach their potential too. Our partnership with Major League Soccer spurred the development of the Audi Player Index. It tracks 88 components and 2,000 player movements to create statistical analysis for each player in each game in near real-time.

Progressing today

Progress doesn’t take days off. We strive every day to help make a positive impact on our communities and the world. Discover what we’re doing right now to continue driving progress.
