Complimentary Accommodations and Logistics

Audi is pleased to offer complimentary accommodations including complimentary transportation from Munich Airport to one of three 4-Star hotels recommended by Audi for one room, one night, complimentary transportation the next morning to Audi Forum Ingolstadt where your new Audi will be waiting. At Audi Forum Ingolstadt, we welcome your customer and a guest to enjoy complimentary meals and non-alcoholic beverages all day in the Marché restaurant while experiencing the flair of Audi authentically through a guided tour of our factory and historical museum. An experience of a lifetime and not only for car enthusiasts.

Insurance Coverage, Export License Plates, Vehicle Registration

Comprehensive insurance¹ and export license plates are provided by Audi for the first 15 days while traveling in Europe. A Certificate of Insurance and vehicle registration will be provided upon vehicle delivery in Ingolstadt, Germany. This insurance covers all 25 European Union countries including Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom. Non European Union countries such as Switzerland, Lichtenstein and Monaco are also covered. Customer will be responsible for purchasing additional insurance coverage and export license plates beyond 15 days.

It is a direct expression of our philosophy and an effective medium for communicating the fascination of the Audi world. The Customer Center, “Audi museum mobile”, the “Market and Customer” building and the expansive Piazza, with their open design and transparent architecture, lend a unique flair.

Before our customers take delivery of their new Audi at the Customer Center of Audi Forum Ingolstadt, we welcome our customers to take a 120 minute guided tour of our factory and a 60 minute guided tour through our world famous historical museum. This is when our customers will experience a vivid insight into Audi’s philosophy, views and heritage. Thereafter, our customers will have a professional “walk around” of their new Audi and will learn how to operate their new vehicle and get a complete understanding of all features and benefits included with this incredible automobile. This is a fascinating brand experience and not only for car enthusiasts.

Traveling by car
A9 motorway, Munich – Nuremberg, exit at junction 60 (Lenting). Follow the Audi signs for visitors. Free parking for customers collecting their new Audi.

Traveling by train
By train to Ingolstadt Hauptbahnhof (main station). You can reach the Audi Forum Ingolstadt by bus (line 11) or taxi (approx. 5 kilometres).

Customers should have the following information available when taking delivery

1. Copy of Bill of Sale / Sales Contract
2. Passport. Customer can visit the U.S. Department of State http://travel.state.gov/passport for instructions and details on applying for a passport.
3. Driver’s License as photo identification
4. Pick Up Authorization Form (Customer will receive from their Audi Dealer).
5. International Factory Collection Form including confirmation of travel period and hotel confirmation, vehicle data including vehicle pick up authorization number, confirmation of factory tour and museum tour. (Audi will confirm these details and provide your customer with a final copy of this form prior to their departure)
Note: The vehicle must be picked up by the purchaser.


¹There is a $1,000 deductible (in Euros) on comprehensive coverage. Allow one day for proper licensing of vehicle prior to customer taking delivery.
