If required due to a covered mechanical breakdown. Not available for scheduled maintenance. Coverage limited to a maximum of $35 a day for a maximum of 10 days of covered rental car expenses. Available if covered member is more than 100 miles from home, experiences a covered mechanical breakdown and repair is delayed overnight due to the unavailability of required parts. Reimbursement limited to $1,000 per occurrence for food, lodging and transportation. This benefit is not available to residents of New York.
