What is Audi connect?

Which connect system do I have?
Please check your model below. Older vehicles have select models equipped with Audi connect®. Please ask your dealer.

Audi connect® is available through data package:
MY17: A5, A6, A7, A8, Q3, Q5, TT, R8
MY18: A6, A7, A8, Q3, TT, R8
MY19: TT, R8

Audi connect is available in CARE, PRIME and PLUS packages. Select models may not have CARE:
MY17: A3, A4, allroad®, Q7
MY18: A3, A4, allroad®, A5, Q5, Q7
MY19: A3, A4, allroad®, A5, A6, A7, A8, Q3, Q5, Q7, Q8, e-tron
Why can't I find my SIM card?
If you have a 2017+ A3, A4, Q7, allroad®, or new 2018+ A5 or Q5, or new 2019 A6, A7, A8, Q3, Q8, e-tron the SIM card in your vehicle is embedded. For all other models your SIM card should be in the Audi connect® packet located in your glove box. If there is no SIM card in your vehicle contact the billing and subscription team at +1 877 505 2834, prompt 1.
What are Key User services, and how do I obtain them?
Key User services give the ability for vehicle owners to view status updates on their vehicle, set alerts for speed limits and geo-fencing violations, as well as locking and unlocking the vehicle through their smartphone. 2017+ Audi Q7, A4, allroad®, 2018+ A5 & Q5 and 2019 A6, A7, A8, Q8, e-tron vehicles with Audi connect© have the capabilities to access these services. For security purposes, additional registration steps are required. The first step is to create a myAudi account through the www.audiusa.com/myaudi website. Once logged in please select the “Audi connect® services” icon. When the new page loads, open the menu options in the upper left-hand corner and select “Audi connect® user management.” Follow the instructions to create a Key User Agreement. An Audi dealership will now need to assist by verifying this Key User Agreement (only an Audi dealership is capable of performing this verification). Once the Agreement has been verified, scratch off the portion of the Key Tag provided to reveal the ten-digit vehicle code. This code is entered into the vehicle along with your username (e-mail address). After successful entry of these login credentials you will be set as the Key User in your vehicle and will be able to use Key User services through your myAudi App and/or myAudi account online.
Why does myAudi App say “Your Authorization are deactivated” and there is an “X” showing for each service?
Owners of 2017+ Audi Q7, A4, allroad®, 2018+ A5 & Q5 and 2019 A6, A7, A8, Q8, e-tron vehicles with Audi connect® have the ability to activate Key User services. This message indicates you have not been set as a Key User in your vehicle. Please follow the instructions for registering for Key User services to enable these features.

The ability to lock and unlock the vehicle through the myAudi App is a feature for these models only. The myAudi App will not display these services if your vehicle is not capable of these services.
Where do I find my myAudi PIN, and what is it for?
Your myAudi PIN is used to link your vehicle with your myAudi account. The PIN is found inside your online myAudi account or myAudi App. With successful entry of the myAudi PIN you will be able to use features like sending destinations to the vehicle and personalize certain myAudi services (if applicable).

Why do I have multiple Audi connect® accounts?
There are two accounts associated with Audi connect®. www.myaudiconnect.com and your personal profile on our website www.audiusa.com/myaudi. Your www.myaudiconnect.com account will display your subscription details, allowing you to check things like data usage history (if applicable), expiration dates and the ability to manage billing information and renew your subscription, amongst other things. Your myAudi account is used to find features and functionality your vehicle has to offer, including things like sending destinations to the vehicle, personalizing information in the car, logging into Twitter, etc. (if applicable).
Why are my Audi connect® Services not working?
Audi connect® is a subscription-based service. If you experience an outage with your services, first confirm that your subscription is active by logging into your account on www.myaudiconnect.com. If assistance is required accessing this account you may reach our billing and subscription team at + 1 877 505 2834, prompt 1. If you confirm the subscription is active but services are still not working there are several troubleshooting steps which may correct the issue to resume services. Please consult your Owner’s Manual for direction, or if further assistance is needed you may reach our Audi Customer Experience Center at + 1 800 822 2834.
