Engine

Signature sound, singular force

The Audi TT RS features a 2.5-liter TFSI® five-cylinder engine that delivers a class-leading 400 hp and 354 lb-ft of torque to all four wheels, going from 0-60 mph in only 3.6 seconds. With the engine’s lightweight aluminum construction, engineers were able to reduce internal friction and increase power delivery. The advancements are both felt and heard — the unique 1-2-4-5-3 ignition sequence, which alternates between adjacent cylinders and those further apart, ensures the TT RS moves at its own pace.

quattro® all-wheel drive

The Audi TT RS employs permanent quattro® all-wheel drive with no set torque distribution. The all-wheel drive system adjusts and fine-tunes to help maximize grip and overall control, sending as much power to the rear wheels as possible.

Stopping power

The TT RS offers a choice between two braking systems, both helping to limit the fade and weight deficiencies of traditional applications. The standard brakes are equipped with eight-piston monobloc brake calipers with 370 mm ventilated discs.

Carbon-ceramic front brakes

Available in the Dynamic plus package, front carbon-ceramic disc brakes are lighter, saving up to 8.82 lbs compared to traditional cast-iron rotors, and offer increased resistance to fade. Front calipers are finished in an Anthracite Gray and feature the Audi ceramic RS logo.
