Bluetooth®

Bluetooth® is the name of a group of wireless technology standards that allows different types of electronic devices to interact via short-range radio waves. Within the standard are several subgroups or "profiles" for specific device interactions, such as phone call handling or fax data transfer. Not all Bluetooth® - enabled devices include the same profiles. The Audi Phone Preparation with Bluetooth® system utilizes the Hands Free Profile 1.0.

*Your Audi vehicle may be equipped with a phone preparation utilizing a Bluetooth® interface to enable hands-free functionality (compatible mobile phones sold separately). You will need a Bluetooth® - enabled mobile phone in order to utilize this function. Not all Bluetooth® - enabled mobile phone models are compatible with Audi's phone preparation. However, most phones should have some level of functionality in the car refer to www.audiusa.com/bluetooth (link below) or contact your local Audi dealer for the latest listing of compatible phones.
