The exclusive lightweight design of the aluminum Audi Space Frame (ASF®) technology offers a number of significant advantages over the competition. By utilizing a combination of aluminum and steel, hybrid ASF technology significantly reduces vehicle weight, enhances body strength, and increases handling.
The weight savings of ASF offers a couple of distinct advantages. As a point of comparison, a conventional steel frame TTS would weigh 48 percent more.
