Superb German precision. Spectacular design. The Audi European Delivery Program is your chance to experience the power and elegance of the Audi brand in Ingolstadt, Germany, the worldwide headquarters of Audi.
The European Delivery Program allows you to order a custom-built Audi from the Audi factory, take delivery in person in Germany, and then spend time driving your car in Europe. When you’re ready, you can have your Audi shipped at no additional cost to the US.
All Audi models available for European Delivery Program receive an MSRP discount of three to five percent.

Please note program lead time is 3-4 months and deliveries depend upon the schedule of The Forum. Please do not book your travel arrangements until your dealer has confirmed your vehicle has been built. The European Delivery Team and your dealer cannot confirm your delivery date when you initially place your order with your dealer.

All US-spec program vehicles delivered at the Forum between the winter months of November and March, must be dealer ordered with factory installed All-Season tires. S-line models and vehicles with performance tire packages must be scheduled for delivery before or after these months.
When you purchase a custom-built Audi for European Delivery, you’ll receive the wonderful opportunity to experience the vibrant spirit of Audi and its heritage in its home country of Germany. Your Audi will be waiting for you at the Audi Forum Ingolstadt, where you’ll receive detailed insight into Audi’s philosophy, views, and history through a guided tour of Audi's factory and museum.
Costs
All of the following are included in your purchase price: International vehicle insurance and registration (for 14 days), drop-off location fees, ground transportation customs duty and clearance, ocean freight and marine insurance, and storage and terminal handling fees.
All of these costs are covered as long as you drop off your vehicle at an approved Audi Dealer location (for its return to the US) within 90 days of its original delivery to the Audi factory in Ingolstadt. However, please note that US destination charges will apply.
Eligibility
All custom-built (not pre-built) Audi models that are sold in the US are eligible for the program. The purchaser must be a US resident at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license, passport, and US Social Security number.
The following models are eligible for European Delivery at the following MSRP discounts*. (The final selling price is determined by your Audi Dealer.)
The Audi R8 is also available for European Delivery, and includes a special program offering at our exclusive plant at Audi Forum Neckarsulm. Please contact your Audi Dealer for additional program details and fees.
* All MSRPs exclude taxes, title and documentary fees, registration, tags, Audi Dealer preparation, labor and installation charges, insurance, optional equipment and accessories, certificate of compliance and noncompliance fees, and finance charges. Destination charges apply.

As a European Delivery Program customer, you agree to pay or secure funding for your vehicle in full with your US Audi Dealer, prior to traveling to Europe to pick up your Audi.
Your Dealer will complete the bill of sale/sales contract with you, and will request payment in full after your vehicle is built. Please note that standard lease rates apply through Audi Financial Services.
You must also pick up your vehicle in Ingolstadt, Germany within 60 days from the date that the sale is finalized. If you do not pick it up within 60 days, your vehicle may no longer be available for European Delivery.
Audi provides comprehensive insurance and export license plates at no cost to you for your first 15 days of travel in Europe. When you receive your vehicle in Ingolstadt, we will also provide a certificate of insurance and vehicle registration.
The insurance covers the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lichtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Norway, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom

Vehicle insurance deductible
There is a €1,000 deductible on the vehicle insurance. This insurance does not cover theft or damage to personal belongings, including all nonautomotive articles. Therefore, we recommend that you purchase additional travel insurance.

Yes. When you agree to purchase your vehicle at the European Delivery Program price established by a participating Audi Dealer, you also agree to return your vehicle to an authorized Audi drop-off location within 90 days of its delivery date in Ingolstadt.
Your Audi Dealer will refund your VAT after confirming that the vehicle has been dropped off within 90 days of its delivery date. If your travel exceeds 90 days, your VAT may not be refunded, and return shipping benefits may no longer be offered.
8-10 weeks before your requested delivery date
Audi will send you a European Delivery welcome letter, which will include your estimated vehicle production and delivery dates as well as next steps.
Four weeks prior to your US departure
Once your vehicle has been built, your US dealer will notify you to finalize the sale. Once you hear from your dealer, please move forward with booking your travel accommodations. At this time, you should confirm your participation in the optional factory tour, complimentary transportation, and complimentary night of hotel accommodations. You’ll also be required to confirm the date that you want your vehicle to be delivered in Ingolstadt, your flight arrival, the number of guests, your travel timeframe, and copies of the purchaser’s driver’s license and passport for vehicle registration.
Two weeks prior to your US departure
Upon delivery confirmation from Germany, Audi will send you a final set of documentation by US mail. These documents will include a personalized confirmation and agenda, authorization for vehicle delivery, and the International Factory Collection form. These will be the final documents you need from Audi before your journey.

To pick up your vehicle in Ingolstadt, you’ll need to have the following information:
1. Copy of the vehicle’s bill of sale, or a buyer’s order from the Audi Dealer
2. Passport (as photo identification)
3. Valid driver’s license
4. Authorization for vehicle delivery form
5. International factory collection voucher
6. Military PCS or diplomatic orders (if applicable)

Audi offers complimentary transportation to the Audi Forum Ingolstadt from one of our recommended hotels. However, if you would like to arrive on your own, directions are as follows:
By car
Take the A9 motorway from Munich toward Nuremberg. Exit at junction 60 (Lenting). Follow the Audi signs for visitors. Free parking is available for Audi customer delivery.
By train
Travel by train to Ingolstadt Hauptbahnhof (Ingolstadt Central Station). You can reach Audi Forum Ingolstadt by bus (line 11) or taxi (approximately five kilometers).

If you’re coming to Ingolstadt in the winter, please note that German laws require all drivers to equip their vehicles accordingly. Although the all-season tires on most Audi vehicles are better suited for winter driving than the S-line performance tires, snow tires provide the highest level of winter driving safetySafetySee active safety and passive safety.Safety and performance—especially when driving on snow or ice*.
Other countries may have similar or more stringent laws. Before driving your vehicle, be sure to check the appropriate requirements of the country (or countries) that you plan to visit.

When you’re ready to return to the US, Audi has 16 dealer locations throughout Europe where you can drop off your vehicle for shipment back to the States.
To ensure that you have a safe and worry-free trip to your location, please schedule your drop-off in advance. Drop-off appointments are necessary for all locations and can be made by phone or email.
Vehicle drop-offs are available Monday through Friday; hours of operation vary by location. All locations are closed on nationally recognized holidays (according to your country of drop-off).
Note that you must drop off your vehicle before your temporary registration and insurance forms expire. Unfortunately, insurance and registration expiration dates cannot be extended once they have been issued.
Before you drop off your vehicle
Be sure to remove all personal items, such as luggage and car seats, from your vehicle. Removing them in advance can help avoid possible delays and additional costs from US Customs. If your vehicle included a portable GPS unit, please be sure to leave this in the vehicle.
Personal items will not be returned to you. Only the original spare tire, jack, and tools are shipped with the vehicle.
Checking in your vehicle
You’ll be required to initial a drop-off report that describes your vehicle’s condition. Minor paint scratches or chips that occur prior to US delivery are considered normal wear and tear (as a result of the vehicle being street-driven on its way to the US).

Please allow a minimum of 11-13 weeks from drop off date to the US dealer delivery (pending transportation, weather, or US Customs delays). Your Audi Dealer will perform necessary licensing and paperwork upon vehicle return.
