As the RS5 readies its engine, and the S8 prepares to lead the S7 and S6 on their journey stateside, Audi of America enters 2012 focused on one thing: Performance.
Inspired by these breathtaking vehicles — and our competitive pedigree — we are thrilled to announce that the Audi quattro Cup 2012 U.S. Tournament will be a celebration of performance as well.
With 60 local tournaments involving an unprecedented 6,400 participants nationwide, 2011 was an intense year of competition that culminated at the legendary Whistling Straits in Kohler, Wisconsin. In 2012, Audi Tournament Headquarters has set an even more ambitious goal for dealers across the country: host a record-shattering 80 local tournaments. Confident that they will rise to the occasion, the 2012 Audi quattro Cup U.S. Final will in turn be expanded and staged over two unforgettable days along the rugged coastline of the Pacific Ocean at the unrivaled Pebble Beach Resorts. Though its name alone is instantly recognized worldwide, its reputation as the site of golf’s most memorable performances made it the logical choice for the 2012 national showdown.
Scheduled for August 23–26 on the fairways of both The Links at Spanish Bay and Pebble Beach Golf Links, the experience will be the culmination of a tournament season defined by performance and the realization of countless amateur golf dreams.
