4-link front suspension

This type of suspension fixes the wheel with four rod-type control arms and the tie rod. The suspension strut supports the vehicle weight against the body via the load-bearing link. By separating the wheel attachment and suspension elements, this design has great potential for optimizing ride quality and movement. The influences of drive forces on the steering system are minimal.
Four-link front suspension is installed on Audi models with FrontTrak® front-wheel drive and with quattro® all-wheel drive.
