- The ""coming home/leaving home"" function: The car's outside lights are activated automatically when the doors are unlocked with the remote control, and switched off automatically after the doors have been locked; this applies to the front fog lights, rear license plate light and lights in bottom of exterior mirrors. Programmable and timer adjustable for both functions via MMI.
- Light sensor: switches on low-beam headlights automatically in poor lighting conditions, e.g. at dusk or if entering a tunnel.
- Rain sensor: Windshield wipers are automatically activated when rainfall is detected or when windshield is wet; intermittent-wipe interval varies automatically to match the amount of rainfall; sensitivity can be controlled. Wiper stalk control needs to be intermittent position.
