Audi Twin Cup winners in Ingolstadt for awards

Nov 12, 2007
• AVG Rosier GmbH team from Stendal wins the Audi Twin Cup 2007
• Twelve dealerships competed for honours
• Premium service the key
The winners of this year’s Audi Twin Cup came to Ingolstadt last Saturday to receive their awards. Twelve Audi dealerships from all over Germany had qualified for the final of this year’s competition in Ingolstadt, each represented by a Service and a Technical team. At the final, the participants competed against each other in typical working situations to find out who had the best practical knowledge. The Jury assessed the competitors’ performance in simulated conversations with customers and the standard of service provided
at the car.

The team from the AVG Rosier GmbH from Stendal emerged as the winners. Second place went to Autohaus Nickl from Augsburg, followed by the team representing Autohaus Ludwig Brodmann from Allensbach in third place. “Service quality is the top priority at Audi. The large number of people participating in this year’s Audi Twin Cup demonstrated to us yet again how highly qualified and motivated the people in our dealer network are,” commented Dietmar E. Schnepp, Head of Service, Germany at AUDI AG. “This standard of service means that we and our service partners are absolutely on course to fulfil our ambition of becoming the most successful premium brand.”

The Audi Twin Cup is a worldwide motivational and training programme that AUDI AG has organised for the twelfth time. This year, around 1,000 dealerships throughout Germany took part in the preliminary rounds of the Audi Twin Cup. Long before the final involving the best 24 teams, theory tests had been held over a six-month period.

To prepare Audi Service partners for the tasks presented by the Audi Twin Cup, they are offered training courses and programmes all the year round. Alongside the comprehensive range of training courses these include service process consultations and IT in-house coaching. These ongoing qualification measures for employees assure an extremely high standard of service.

The competition’s winning team can look forward to a trip to Aspen,
Colorado, and will be taking part in the fourth international Twin Cup
practical final in 2008 against worldwide competition. Audi Service teams from a large number of markets will be taking part in the annual “World Championship” in the service world. The current World Champions are Germany. And defending the title is, of course, a matter of national pride too.
